Accounting Officer

The Accounting Officer supports the finance team by ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. Based in Dili, this full-time, on‑site role works closely with colleagues across PersonalAI to maintain the integrity of the organization’s financial data. Positioned within the Finance department, the Accounting Officer helps facilitate timely month‑end close processes, prepares routine financial reports, and assists with internal and external audit requirements. The role contributes to sound financial stewardship that enables informed decision‑making across the business. By maintaining reliable accounting records and supporting compliance with relevant standards, the Accounting Officer plays a key part in safeguarding PersonalAI’s financial health and supporting its growth objectives.

• Process daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers • Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities • Prepare routine financial statements and reports for management review • Support internal and external audit activities by providing documentation • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
